12. September 2005 marks the end of a long-awaited day – after 3 years of recreation the Norwegian Electro pioneers Apoptygma Berzerk will release their 5th album “You and Me against the World”. Frontman Stephan Groth took the time for another stylistic vernier adjustment: Compared to the former album HARMONIZER (2002), which climbed on top of the European clubcharts with its dancefloor beats and atmospheric wave sounds, “You and Me against the World” is much more influenced by rocking guitars. Already a floorfiller in local clubs is the single “In This Together”. A song that is energized by impressive guitar sounds and resistless grooves and a chorus that cannot only be characterised as ear candy. Not only the fanbase of artists like Depeche Mode, Zeromancer and Nine Inch Nails but also long-time supporter’s of Stephan Groth and Co. will be thrilled by “In This Together”. Op 12 September eindigt het wachten. Na een drie jaar onderbreking publiceren de Noorse elektrische pioniersApoptygma Berzerk hun 5de album "You And Me Against The World". Mastermind Stephan Groth, heeft de "creatieve onderbreking" voor een vernieuwde stilistische fijne aanpassing gebruikt. In vergelijking met hun laatste album HARMONIZER uit 2002 die met zijn dansvloer beats en atmos- ferische geluiden tot top van de Europese club scène raakte, bezit "You And Me Against The World" een geluid dat veel meer rock georiënteerd is. De nieuwe single "In This Together" vult dan ook gemakkelijk ieder dansvloer en boeit dankzij de macht van atmosferische gitaren, onweerstaanbaar melodieën en een chorus die slechts onvoldoende kan worden beschreven als "elektriserend". De aanhangers en de fans van Depeche Mode, Zeromancer of Nine Inch Nails zullen gelijk van "In This Together" houden, evenals al die vroege en loyale fans van Stephan Groth & Co.
